Beef stew with farfalle, braised cabbage and carrots

This is a bare bones kind of a beef stew. Beef well browned, some onion, garlic scape pesto (that I always have in the freezer, for when I run out of garlic), bay and thyme, then baked in a slow oven for half the day. I’ve served it over bowtie pasta, with a side of braised cabbage and carrots from the freezer.
