Teapot with Mary

No picture tonight. Our friend Mary came over for dinner, and we ordered in from Teapot. Mary and Kevin ate sushi and I got a Chinese dish, scallops with garlic sauce, which came with lots of celery and water chestnuts as the vegetable, and brown rice. We caught up on daughters and dogs.

Great Wall in Florence

I’m a fan of Great Wall in Florence, MA, particularly their gourmet menu. I’ve had their South China style pork, a layered casserole, and thought it was the really tasty. This is even better: the pork with spicy Szechuan pickle. It is just a little spicy, the way I like it. The peppers are more prominent, and there are more crunchy vegetables, a plus. I ordered an appetizer of dumplings. Kevin got scallion pancakes, and a duck entree, and we shared. We’re still watching season one of “Doctor Who.” For dessert, we had slices of cheesecake and strawberries left over from last night’s seder.
